To make your reporting of the Disaster Preparedness Summit as easy as possible, we can coordinate interviews for you and would be more than happy to advise you of news worthy stories, angles, and photo opportunities both before and throughout the event. We'll also keep you posted as to last minute changes, news bulletins, and speaker availabilities.
Registration is complimentary for approved members of the media and will include access to all speakers, conference handout materials, exhibit hall pass, and breakfast and lunch. As a member of the media, how do you take advantage of all DPS opportunities? On arrival, check in and present your credentials at the Registration/Media Desk.The number of media passes issued to an organization is at the discretion ofthe Disaster Preparedness Summit. All Media must have a Media Badge, so sign in as soon as you arrive! Advance registration is requested for freelance journalists and web-based publications. Freelance writers should present a formal letter from a publication stating you have been retained to cover the conference. If this is not applicable, then you must provide examples of previously published articles in suitable publications. Public relations executives, consultants, authors,and researchers may not register as media. The DPS Media Director will review all media registrations and may decline persons who do not meet eligibility criteria. You will be contacted within 48 hours concerning the status of your registration request.
